Job summary

Nômade Temple Madrid is offering a Finance internship in Ibiza to support the Finance team with administrative and operational tasks within the hospitality sector.

You will assist in invoicing, bank reconciliation, reporting and collaboration with hotel departments. A proactive learner with bilingual Spanish/English skills is ideal for a 6–8 month placement, with meals provided and free accommodation available in Ibiza.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Genuine interest in developing a career in Finance within the hospitality industry.
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset and strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Finance team with the department’s administrative and operational tasks.
• Assist with the management, organization and filing of invoices, delivery notes and financial documentation.
• Support the recording and follow-up of supplier and customer invoices.
• Assist in reviewing invoices, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
• Support the follow-up of supplier payments and customer collections.
• Assist with the reconciliation and review of bank transactions and different payment methods.
• Support the updating and maintenance of financial databases, files and records.
• Assist with the monitoring and control of hotel expenses and departmental costs.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, analysis and reporting.
• Assist with the control and follow-up of documentation related to purchases and suppliers.
• Support communication and follow-up with suppliers when required.
• Assist with the monthly closing process, gathering and organizing the necessary information.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to collect financial information and documentation.
• Support the review and monitoring of budgets and expense items, following the department’s guidelines.
• Keep the Finance Department’s physical and digital files up to date.
• Participate in other Finance projects and tasks according to the department’s operational needs.

Profile & Skills

• Spanish and English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Availability: 6 to 8 months.
