Job summary

Glovo Spain is seeking a Director of Finance to be the key strategic advisor to the General Manager, owning the country’s financial planning, performance, and strategic direction. You will lead a high‑performing team, partner with operations, marketing, q-commerce and commercial units, and ensure every initiative drives value and profitability.

This role owns the full P&L, budgets, forecasts, treasury and reporting, and offers equity, private health insurance, Glovo credits, and flexible work

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years’ experience in Finance, or equivalent high-impact environments.
• Senior leadership with full P&L exposure and cross-functional business acumen.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams and recruiting top talent.
• Experience in high-growth tech, e-commerce, FMCG or marketplace settings.
• CFO-track background in fast-paced companies is a strong plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Finance team that delivers insights and identifies opportunities.
• Be the strategic right-hand to the General Manager: guide roadmap, investments, and business-model evolution.
• Own and steer the full P&L, from revenue levers to cost optimization.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly performance reviews.
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses, and predictive models for expansion and strategy.
• Partner with central finance, strategy, and data teams for alignment.
• Be a trusted C-level counterpart with clear financial storytelling.
• Oversee finance operations and process improvements with local/global stakeholders.
• Support treasury and accounting needs and monitor financial policies.
