ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Field Service Technician for its Marine Division in Spain. Ideal candidates are located in the Barcelona area, with consideration for applicants from across Spain.

You will perform planned maintenance and installation tasks on electronic locks, safes, and IT equipment, travel worldwide, and contribute to the Marine Department’s success. Fluency in English and strong problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Experience with Windows and networks; Linux and databases (SQL or others) an advantage.
• Experience in planning, commissioning, and training crew in use and maintenance of products.
• Good spoken and written English; able to work independently and with a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned and preventive maintenance, repair and service on hardware solutions such as electronic locks, safes, and other IT equipment.
• Participate in testing and servicing new hardware and software products, ensuring functionality and reliability.
• Involved in software installation, programming, and development, including laptop configuration and system updates.
• Maintain good customer relationships.
• Work under pressure in a multinational environment.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Spain

What You Would Do

You will contribute to strengthening our Marine Department in Spain, delivering innovative access solutions that satisfy our customers. You will travel worldwide to perform a diverse range of maintenance and installation tasks.

The Skills And Experience You Need

• Expertise in Microsoft Windows and network solutions, with additional experience in Linux and databases (SQL or others); also carpentry and IT skills.
• Experience in technical planning, commissioning, and training crew in the use and maintenance of products. Experience with ASSA ABLOY electronic lock systems and access control systems is a plus.
• Good spoken and written English, a systematic approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
