JLL seeks a Contract / FIDIC Engineer for Data Center projects based in Madrid, on-site. You will administer FIDIC contracts as Engineer/Employer’s Representative, ensuring fair implementation while upholding quality, schedule, and budget objectives.

Key responsibilities include evaluating claims, chairing meetings, reviewing submittals, monitoring construction quality, and managing dispute resolution. You will issue payment certificates and maintain records throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with several years of experience in contract administration using FIDIC forms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC procedures and contract documents.
• Strong technical background to review designs and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven analytical abilities and meticulous documentation habits.
• FIDIC accreditation and/or professional body membership preferred; international project experience a plus.
• Experience with Data Center projects is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administer FIDIC contracts (Red, Yellow, Silver) as Engineer/Employer’s Representative.
• Evaluate contractors’ claims, variations, and extension of time requests with documentation.
• Chair meetings, prepare progress reports and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Review technical submittals, monitor construction quality and inspections.
• Approve work certification in line with contract specs and industry standards.
• Manage dispute resolution, assist with adjudication, and provide contractual guidance.
• Issue payment certificates and maintain audit-ready contract records.
