Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking an experienced F&B Captain to lead a designated service area and ensure flawless guest experiences aligned with Mandarin Oriental values.

You will manage service standards, guide the team on menus and beverages, and maintain immaculate mise en place and guest relations across shifts, contributing to memorable dining journeys on the island.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven leadership in luxury hospitality.
• Experience overseeing a service area and delivering high standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a designated service area and maintain smooth operations and high service standards.
• Assist supervisors by completing daily checklists and maintaining service standards.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the outlet’s concept, menu and beverages, guiding guests.
• Ensure mise en place and cleanliness standards before and during service.
• Operate the POS system, process orders and handle payments.
• Deliver attentive, personalized service and anticipate guest needs.
• Upsell food, beverages, and experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Communicate guest preferences, allergies and special requests to kitchen and management.
