European QA Lead: Data Center HVAC & Field Quality

ThermalWorks LLC seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to serve as the technical quality authority across Europe, customer field sites, and internal quality control. The role requires hands-on HVAC/mechanical expertise, with 8D problem solving and Six Sigma experience, reporting to the Director of Quality.

Based preferably in Barcelona, Madrid, or Bilbao, the position involves 20–40% travel and remote work possibilities. Fluency in Spanish is required; BAS/BMS familiarity is a plus.

Formación

• 7+ years hands-on experience in HVAC/mechanical systems or industrial equipment manufacturing.
• 4+ years of experience in a Quality position (engineer, supervisor, manager).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, submittals, MOPs, SOPs, and EAPs.
• Willingness and ability to travel to factory and field sites regularly.
• Fluency in Spanish. (Spanish language)

Responsabilidades

• Factory Quality: identify quality concerns for first-article inspections or before shipment; review docs against specs; coordinate with leadership; document inspection outcomes.
• Customer Site Quality: perform on-site QA/QC inspections at client locations; drive 8D problem solving; create Root Cause Analysis and CAPA reports.
• Quality Control Meetings & Reporting: present findings to leadership; track open QC items; develop/ refine QA/QC docs and checklists.
