Chery Spain R&D Center is seeking a Thermal Management Engineer to support the development, validation, and optimization of HVAC and thermal management systems for European market vehicles. You will work with suppliers, testing organizations, and HQ engineering to ensure performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years' experience in HVAC/thermal management, with a focus on European automotive standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Thermal Energy, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering.
• At least 3 years in HVAC or automotive thermal management development.
• Experience with vehicle testing, validation, and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of thermal management for new energy vehicles is a plus.
• Understanding of the European automotive environment.
• Proficient English; Spanish and/or Chinese valued.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Support localization development and validation for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers to localize HVAC components and obtain approvals.
• Lead issue investigation during vehicle testing and climate calibration.
• Support analysis of aftersales quality issues related to thermal management.
• Establish and improve localized development and validation processes.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market-related technical analysis.
• Collaborate with global and local teams across engineering, quality, product, and operations.
