European QA & Field Quality Lead — HVAC/Data Center

ThermalWorks is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to act as the technical quality authority across European sites, customer data centers, and internal QA. This is a cross-functional role at the intersection of manufacturing, field service, and quality leadership.

The ideal candidate has hands-on HVAC/mechanical systems experience, 8D/Six Sigma expertise, and will travel 20–40%. Based in Barcelona, Madrid or Bilbao with strong documentation skills and Spanish fluency.

Formación

• 7+ years hands-on HVAC/mechanical experience
• 4+ years in a Quality position
• QA/QC on construction, commissioning, or service projects
• Ability to read and interpret engineering docs and specs
• Strong written inspection reports and findings
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Proficiency with BAS/BMS platforms
• Fluency in Spanish

Responsabilidades

• Support factory quality and field QA to identify issues before release
• Review documentation against engineering specs and submittals
• Coordinate findings with leadership and raise holds when needed
• Produce written QA reports for the Director of Quality
• Perform on-site QA/QC inspections at customer data centers
• Lead 8D problem solving with Engineering and Operations
• Generate Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action reports
• Create structured site-visit inspection reports and track resolution
• Present findings at QC meetings and drive trends
• Coordinate field scheduling and site logistics
