Hunter Philips is seeking a Quality & Environmental Manager to support the delivery of a major long-term energy infrastructure project in Spain. You will coordinate and deliver Quality and Environmental activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

The role is based in Madrid with a hybrid pattern (2 days in the office / 3 days remote). The assignment runs January 2027 to December 2030, with occasional travel within Spain.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related discipline.
• At least three years of Quality and Environmental experience in project environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience in energy, industrial or construction projects.
• Experience conducting audits and managing risks, non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary contact for all project Quality and Environmental matters.
• Develop and manage Project Q&E Plans, KPIs and performance reporting.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and contractual/regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate Q&E delivery across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Lead audits with clients, subcontractors and authorities; manage risks and corrective actions.
• Support site-based Q&E personnel and drive continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary contact for all project Quality and Environmental matters.
• Develop and manage Project Q&E Plans, KPIs and performance reporting.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and all contractual, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Coordinate Q&E delivery across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Manage project risks, environmental impacts, non-conformities, investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead internal, external and supplier audits while coordinating with clients, subcontractors and authorities.
• Support site-based Q&E personnel and drive continuous improvement, lessons learned and best-practice sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a related discipline.
• At least three years Quality and Environmental experience within project environments.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience within energy, industrial or construction projects.
• Experience conducting audits and managing risks, non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Basic Level qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

The assignment offers long-term continuity through to December 2030, a hybrid working arrangement in Madrid and involvement throughout the complete project lifecycle.
