Colliers seeks an experienced Manager of Software Engineering to lead cross-functional teams at the Madrid Technology Hub. This hybrid role involves shaping technical direction, fostering innovation, and delivering high-quality software in alignment with business goals.

You will join a founding team within a global real estate leader, offering visibility, growth, and the chance to influence processes, culture, and technology strategies.

Formación

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in engineering management.
• Hands-on experience with modern software development practices, open-source stacks, agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience delivering software using agile methodologies and iterative delivery models.
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in a product-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of secure development practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR, SOC2).

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing software engineering teams.
• Drive on-time, on-budget delivery and maintain quality of engineering projects.
• Identify risks, remove blockers, and resolve delivery issues proactively.
• Ensure engineering work meets quality, security, and reliability standards before release.
• Support agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Promote engineering excellence through code quality, reviews, architecture, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Track and improve KPIs such as velocity, quality, incidents, and team satisfaction.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering Operations to align processes and tools.
