Colliers in Madrid is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join its new Technology Hub. This role offers hybrid work (remote & onsite) and a chance to shape the technical direction in a global real estate leader.

You will translate complex business needs into scalable architectures, lead architecture governance, and collaborate with product, DevOps, and regional teams. Expect high impact, visibility, and opportunities to influence standards and practices.

Formación

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in architecture roles.
• Design complex, distributed, and scalable systems.
• Strong SOA, microservices, event-driven architectures and API development (REST/GraphQL).
• Backend: .NET; Frontend: React/TypeScript; cloud-native architectures.
• SQL/NoSQL databases and caching with Redis.
• Non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, security, and observability.
• Excellent communication; fluent in English and Spanish; Agile practices.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business needs into robust architectures and proofs of concept.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure governance across teams.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and platform teams to align delivery.
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalable solutions across regions.
• Mentor engineers and influence technology direction without direct management.
