Colliers is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for its newly established Technology Hub in Madrid. This hybrid role offers significant freedom to innovate and influence the future of a global real estate leader, working with international teams to deliver world-class software solutions.

You will build and advance automated testing across frontend and backend, mentor engineers, and help define testing standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in a QA or software testing role
• Experience testing modern web applications using React, Typescript and .NET technologies
• Hands-on experience with frontend and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Cypress, with experience writing automated API tests
• Experience with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Agile Development experience (Scrum/Kanban) including story estimation, code reviews and pair programming
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams using Jira, GitHub, Miro and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with test case management tools and practices
• Solid understanding of performance optimization
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish
• Understanding of secure development practices and compliance frameworks (ISO27001, GDPR, SOC2)
• Experience with performance testing and security testing tools
• Exposure to global, multi-cultural organization
• Domain-driven design (DDD) exposure and event-driven architecture
• Ability to work in a fast-paced growing tech environment and foster change

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a reusable automation testing framework
• Create and maintain automated test suites across frontend, backend, and API layers using Cypress, Playwright, and Postman
• Lead implementation of testing frameworks with emphasis on early defect detection and fast feedback
• Collaborate with engineers to embed testing considerations from the start of development
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps and Engineering Operations
• Promote test-first development with unit-, integration-, and performance-testing
• Support root cause analysis and resolution of production issues to ensure reliability
• Define and adhere to coding standards, documentation and software lifecycle practices
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and drive quality improvements
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold engineering excellence
• Work with Product Owners to validate acceptance criteria and edge cases
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize pipelines, observability and deployment automation
• Share best practices to foster a quality mindset across the engineering department
• Ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements
