Ebury, a global fintech hub from Málaga, seeks an Engineering Manager to build and lead the client risk management team. You will guide architecture, ensure robust delivery, and shape product strategies that protect clients against FX movements.

This role emphasizes leadership, platform thinking, and responsible AI adoption within a hybrid Málaga office. You will mentor engineers, own hiring, and collaborate with Product and Design to deliver scalable risk management solutions across currencies

Formación

• Proven experience managing software teams with mentorship and delivery standards.
• Strong CS foundation and distributed systems experience (AWS, event-driven).
• Ability to define interview criteria and close top talent from scratch.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools and productive adoption strategies.
• Focus on client value, scoping, and high discipline in money-movement systems.
• Fluency in English; ability to align cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build & Grow the Team: own hiring end-to-end, coach engineers, define growth paths.
• Delivery Ownership: translate outcomes into roadmaps, manage risk, ship reliably.
• Technical Leadership: lead architecture reviews for high-scale systems on AWS.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: collaborate with Product and Design on solutions.
• Operational Health: ensure on-call readiness, testing standards, CI/CD.
• Responsible AI Adoption: integrate AI safely while owning shipped code.
