Ebury is seeking an Engineering Manager in its Málaga hub to lead teams building the client risk management application for FX. You will drive end-to-end delivery, guide architecture for scalable, event-driven systems on AWS and BigQuery, and partner with Product and Design to deliver client-focused risk management features.
Join a multinational fintech with a strong emphasis on collaboration, responsible AI adoption, and leadership development.
Ebury helps ambitious businesses unlock global growth, and we take the same approach with our people. We encourage innovation and movement, collaboration and problem-solving, and foster an environment where everyone can feel they belong, are valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
Ebury is a global fintech, headquartered in London. We help businesses move money across borders – FX, payments, and lending – in 140+ currencies, sending payments to 160+ countries across 30+ regulated markets, delivered by 2,000+ experts in 40+ offices worldwide and backed by Santander. We've set ourselves a deliberately hard bar: beat the best digital‑first experience in our market, not merely match the incumbents.
As an Engineering Manager in our Málaga hub, your mission is to build and lead the teams that build the best client risk management application in the market.
This role focuses on client risk management, which helps clients understand, manage and reduce their exposure to foreign exchange risk. The domain builds products and capabilities that enable clients to identify their currency exposure, define appropriate risk management strategies, and protect their businesses against adverse currency movements through hedging solutions.
We run a fast, respectful 4-stage process (typically completing final interviews within a week and decisions within 48 hours):
Ebury delivers sophisticated, integrated solutions — business accounts, hedging, and financing — on a single platform with a seamless workflow.
Since its founding in 2009, Ebury has always been a fast-growing leader in fintech. Today, we bring together 2000+ Eburians across nearly 70 cities and we’re always looking to add to our team.
At the heart of our offering is a proprietary platform, purpose‑built to help businesses seamlessly streamline and manage global cash flow. We focus on continuous product evolution and innovation to build the infrastructure for borderless growth and help our clients scale at every stage.
The opportunities at Ebury are as diverse as our people, ranging from business development to engineering roles across our tech pillars.
We believe in inclusion. We stand against discrimination in all forms and are against the intolerance of differences that makes us a modern and successful organisation. At Ebury, you can be whoever you want to be and still feel a sense of belonging no matter your story.
Ebury only accepts applications via official Ebury channels. We will only contact you from an @ebury.com domain. Always check the emails you receive from us, and note that we will never request payment for any part of the recruitment process. Stay safe and report suspicious activity.
