Job summary

Ebury in Madrid is seeking an Engineering Manager to build and lead the teams that deliver the best client lending application in the market. You will drive the growth of Ebury's Lending ecosystem, building robust, automated, multi-currency trade finance platforms that power the global supply chain.

As a leader, you’ll own hiring end-to-end, coach engineers through growth paths and performance management, and guide architecture for high-scale, event-driven systems on AWS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong track record mentoring and delivering with high standards.
• Fluent in English and able to guide cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Build & Grow the Team: own hiring end-to-end and coach engineers to grow.
• Delivery Ownership: translate business outcomes into clear roadmaps and deliver reliably.
• Technical Leadership: guide architecture and design reviews for scalable systems on AWS and BigQuery.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: collaborate with Product and Design to shape customer solutions.
• Operational Health: ensure production stability, CI/CD, tests and observability.
• Responsible AI Adoption: integrate AI tools safely while owning shipped code.
