Lanserhof Marbella offers a role as Engineer Assistant Manager to support the Head of Technical Services in ensuring safe, sustainable operation of our premises. You will help organise and develop the technical department, coordinating processes to meet Lanserhof's high standards.

You will take responsibility for day-to-day operations, stand in for the Chief Engineer when required, and collaborate with all departments to enhance guest experience and operational safety.

Formación

• Professional training in a relevant technical field or at least three years' demonstrable experience in the technical maintenance of buildings and facilities and in the medical and hospitality sectors.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Office, and a sound technical understanding.
• Performance-oriented mindset with a cross-departmental perspective.
• Reliability, organization and commitment; ability to handle varied tasks.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure operational readiness and reliability of technical installations and systems.
• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair on building equipment in hotel and medical areas.
• Monitor and supervise building management and control systems.
• Coordinate external service providers and contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections and support the Facility Management team.
• Organize day-to-day operations and handle administrative office tasks.
• Act as deputy to the Head of Department during absences.

What does the role involve?

As an Engineer Assistant Manager, you will support the Head of Technical Services in ensuring the safe, sustainable and smooth operation of our premises. Right from the set-up phase, you will play an active role in organising and further developing the technical department and help to lay the foundations for professional operations of the highest quality. With your technical expertise, hands-on approach and strong commitment to quality, you will help coordinate all technical processes and, together with the team, ensure that the buildings, facilities and outdoor areas meet the Lanserhof's high standards at all times. You will take responsibility for day-to-day operations, stand in for the Chief Engineer when required and work closely with all departments. In this way, you will make a valuable contribution to the guest experience, operational safety and the sustainable preservation of our property's value.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of technical installations and systems
• Performing maintenance, inspection, and repair work on technical building equipment in both the hotel and medical sectors
• Monitoring and supervising the building management system as well as relevant control and regulation systems
• Assisting in the coordination and supervision of external service providers and specialized contractors
• Conducting regular inspections of the property's technical facilitiesSupporting the Facility Management / Maintenance team
• Organizing day-to-day operations and handling administrative office tasks
• Acting as deputy to the Head of Department during periods of absence

We are looking for

You have professional training in the relevant technical field or at least three years' demonstrable experience in the technical maintenance of buildings and facilities and in the medical and hospitality sectors.
