Job summary

BYD Europe Energy Storage is seeking a Service Engineer to maintain storage systems, perform commissioning, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites across Spain. You will work with high/low voltage systems and support customers with remote diagnostics while ensuring safety and quality on every field mission.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in power or storage, an electrical engineering background, and fluent Spanish with working English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in power industry or HV/LV systems, energy storage preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Strong electrical knowledge of energy storage systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Fluent in Spanish and working English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BYD Energy Storage Systems to a high standard with annual checks and capacity tests.
• Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers.
• Perform start-up and commissioning services at customer locations (SAT).
• Troubleshoot equipment at customer sites and provide field feedback for product improvement.
• Assist in-house system engineering with project work and training delivery.
• Maintain administrative tasks such as timesheets and daily logs.
