Job summary

Avanade Inc. in Madrid is seeking a Modern Workplace Endpoint Engineer to design, build and operate enterprise endpoint-management for a complex separation programme.

You will work hands-on with MECM, Windows 11 imaging and OSD, packaging, patch management, and device staging, collaborating across countries and with security and network teams. You will lead pilots, ensure endpoint security, asset accuracy and service continuity, develop documentation and runbooks, and coordinate delivery across

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience designing, implementing and supporting MECM environments in complex enterprises.
• Strong MECM architecture knowledge, including site roles, boundaries and client-health monitoring.
• Advanced Windows 11 imaging, OSD, drivers and packaging for enterprise deployments.
• Experience with enterprise patch management (WSUS, Patch My PC) and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and validate MECM environments with SQL databases and site system roles.
• Create and maintain Windows 11 light images and OSD task sequences.
• Review inventories and repackage country-specific applications per standards.
• Prepare IT Corner and device-staging capabilities with DNS, DHCP, PKI and NAC integration.
• Plan country pilots and controlled waves, coordinate device assessments and handover.
• Operate MECM services, patching, client health, deployment and diagnostics.
• Maintain asset records in CMDBs and reconcile devices throughout the programme.
• Produce design, deployment and DR documentation and collect evidence against criteria.
• Coordinate delivery across countries with Client Management, End User Support and Security.
