Job summary

Swiss Re is seeking an experienced Workplace Engineer in Madrid to lead traditional endpoint management using SCCM, OS deployment, and imaging while driving a transition toward cloud-native management with Intune and Azure AD. You will support a 17,000+ user estate and work within a hybrid model.

The role requires hands-on expertise with SCCM, Windows 11 deployment, and security tooling, alongside ITSM processes and strong documentation. A university degree in engineering or CS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with SCCM and Intune in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Windows 11 deployment, OSD tasks and imaging.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ITIL guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage enterprise endpoint solutions via SCCM for large estates.
• Develop OS Deployment task sequences for Windows 11 imaging and upgrades.
• Own Windows 11 lifecycle, feature updates and end-user impact assessment.
• Manage software packaging, detection methods and deployment targets in SCCM.
• Administer and optimise SCCM infrastructure elements and boundaries.
• Serve as L3 escalation point for endpoint incidents with ITSM alignment.
• Apply ITIL/ITSM practices in day-to-day operations.
• Implement endpoint security using Defender for Endpoint and Conditional Access.
• Create PowerShell scripts and Graph API automation for config/remediation.
• Collaborate with Endpoints team to evolve workplace features.
