We're looking for Dutch speakers to join an international customer support team in Valencia. Your colleagues come from all over Europe, and most of them moved to Valencia for the job, just as you would. It's a social, lively office, and it suits people who are outgoing, like working with others, and want to grow.
You'll be the person Dutch customers speak to when they need help. You'll answer questions by phone, email and chat about orders, products, returns and deliveries, and make sure every case is sorted out properly. When something needs another department, you work with the internal teams to solve it, and you keep each customer's records up to date so the next person can pick up where you left off.
You don't need customer service experience. You'll get full training on the systems and products when you start, and the team will help you through your first weeks.
The beach is a tram ride from the city centre, and a 9 km park runs through the old riverbed. There are around 300 days of sun a year, and the city is big enough to be interesting but small enough to feel at home quickly.
In recent years Valencia has also become one of Spain's most international cities. More and more tech companies and international businesses are opening offices there, and a large community of people from all over the world has settled there. So the experience you build there counts, and there's plenty of opportunity once you've found your feet.
A lot of people start their life abroad with a job like this. A year in, they speak Spanish, have friends from all over Europe, and have a much clearer idea of what they want next. Some grow inside the company, and others take the experience somewhere new.
We're happy to answer your questions first.
