Southern Pizza Company dba Pizza Inn is seeking a diligent dishwashing attendant to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant.

You will clean dishes and small wares, operate and maintain the dish machine, remove trash, and keep the dish area tidy. You’ll assist in the kitchen and other areas as needed, and complete opening/closing checklists under supervision.

• Maintains dish machine. Ensures it is operating correctly. Reports any defects immediately. Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly on a regular basis.
• Removes trash from kitchen and places trash in dumpster.
• Keeps dish area clean and organized.
• Assists in kitchen where needed.
• Assists in other areas of the restaurant when needed.
• Completes opening and/or closing checklists.
• Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

Physical Demands

Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry dish racks weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen.
