Gartner, Inc. seeks a Director of Software Engineering in Barcelona to lead the design, development, and operation of attendee-facing mobile and web platforms.

You will oversee architecture, roadmap prioritization, and quality assurance for enterprise-grade experiences used by senior leaders across industries. The role blends strategic leadership, team architecture, and capability building, with travel up to 30 days/year to Gartner conferences and on-site support at events.

Formación

• 12+ years in software engineering.
• 4–5 years in engineering leadership.
• 3+ years leading teams of 15+ engineers or managing large-scale product delivery.
• Experience with high-scale or mission-critical external facing mobile and web platforms.
• Designing digital products using .NET (Preferred)/Python/Java and deploying on cloud providers (AWS/Azure).
• Travel up to 30 days per year for on-site Gartner conferences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery for attendee-facing mobile and web platforms, including architecture, roadmap prioritization, and QA.
• Define product strategy with stakeholders and translate capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance customer journeys and digital engagement.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering team with mentoring and distributed leadership.
• Align teams to business outcomes and structure autonomous delivery with clear accountability.
• Coordinate across product, program, and platform levels to communicate strategy to senior leadership.
