XOTELS is offering a Digital Marketing Intern position based in Barcelona, Spain, with a hybrid work model (3 office days per week at the Passeig de Gracia office) and exposure to SEO, content management, analytics, and social media for hotel clients and our B2B marketing activities. You will gain diverse marketing experience, high autonomy, and industry insights while developing leadership skills.

• Studying in Hotel, Tourism or Marketing related fields.
• Previous experience with WordPress is a plus.
• Experience in travel sector and/or marketing is a plus.
• Must be an EU Citizen or in possession Spanish work visa.
• Only submissions in English will be considered.
• Must speak high-level English and at least 1 other language.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse the impact of actions using measurement tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Communicate status to team members and management.
• Develop and maintain content for hotel and corporate websites in multiple languages using WordPress.
• Responsible for on-page SEO, launch and update of landing pages.
• Develop and maintain social media accounts for our portfolio of hotel and corporate websites.
• Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional networks.

The Internship

• Starting period: September
• Duration of internship: 6 months

• Must live in or nearby Barcelona and must have a valid working permit.

Role Digital Marketing Intern (Intern)

Job Location Based in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid between working from home and the office).

The Mission of the Role The Hotel Marketing Intern will be responsible for the research and content management for the company and hotel client websites/media channels in a search engine-optimised way following the latest web standards and best practices.

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide internal feedback on strategy opportunities by performing competitor research.
• Analyse the impact of actions by using measurement tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
• Communicate status to team members and management.
• Development and maintenance of content for our portfolio of hotel and corporate websites in a variety of languages and using WordPress
• Responsible for On-page SEO, launch and update of landing pages.
• Development and maintenance of Social Media accounts for our portfolio of hotel and corporate websites.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Studying in Hotel, Tourism or Marketing related fields
• Previous experience with WordPress is a plus
• Experience working in the travel sector and/or marketing is a plus
• Must be an EU Citizen or in possession Spanish work visa
• Only submissions in English will be considered.
• Must speak high-level English and at least 1 other language (e.g. Spanish / French / German / Dutch)
