Job summary

Trimble Inc. is hiring a Data Platform Engineer – Data Infrastructure & Services in Spain to help build and evolve a next‑gen data platform on Google Cloud Platform.

You will design and operate cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and platform tooling with a strong focus on automation, IaC, governance, and observability. The role emphasizes end‑to‑end delivery, AI‑assisted tooling, and collaboration with lead data engineers during a multi‑cloud migration from AWS and Azure to GCP.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on with declarative IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with modern data stack components (BigQuery, Airflow, Pub/Sub, Dataflow).

Responsibilities

• Own platform outcomes from intent to production with minimal handoffs.
• Design, provision, and evolve IaC using Terraform and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in migrating workloads and data pipelines from other clouds to GCP.
