Equifax, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will design and build data pipelines, create datasets, and develop automations within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

With moderate supervision, manage project progress, metadata, and execution. You will analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose practical resolutions to internal stakeholders. This role emphasizes collaboration and strong problem-solving in a regulated data environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools.
• Intermediate English language proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Manage project progress, metadata collection, development, and overall execution with moderate supervision.
• Investigate stakeholder queries under the high-level direction of the Team Leader.
• Analyze problems, identify root causes, formulate findings/observations, suggest resolutions, and communicate them to stakeholders with moderate guidance from the Team Leader.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory data standards and support internal/external queries regarding data standards.
• Enter and maintain accurate information within the documentation repository.
• Follow established security protocols and actively identify and report potential vulnerabilities.
• Perform intermediate-level data quality checks following established procedures.
