Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Data Product Engineer in Data & Analytics to join our remote-friendly team in Spain. This hands-on role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, governance, and data products that empower reporting and AI-enabled services.

You will lead design decisions, partner with platform and security teams, and deliver end-to-end solutions across BI, APIs, and internal apps. You will work with SQL, Python, dbt, BigQuery, and Airflow while embracing AI-native practices and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering, or an adjacent field.
• Strong mastery of SQL, Python, data modelling, ELT, dbt, orchestration and cloud data services (GCP BigQuery).
• Experience with DevOps: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, environment management, observability.

Responsibilities

• Build & scale data and analytics pipelines and reusable data products for BI, internal apps, and AI consumers.
• Provide technical leadership and establish standards for architecture, modeling, orchestration, testing, data contracts and governance.
• Shape and operate a governed semantic layer for consistent metrics across reporting, apps, APIs and AI services.
• Improve operations with data quality controls, monitoring, and cost management.
• Evolve AI-native practices and ensure actionable guidance for coding agents and reviews.
