Job summary

SDG Group is seeking Data Platform & Cloud Engineers to design, deploy, and optimize cloud data platforms across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will automate tasks, manage security and governance, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on cutting-edge data projects.

The role offers a hybrid work model with opportunities to scale data ecosystems for major clients, leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, and other leading technologies. English and Spanish communication are essential.

Qualifications

+3 years of experience in Azure/AWS/GCP administration.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and managed container services.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, and command-line automation.

Responsibilities

Create and manage users, groups, and service accounts with proper access controls.
Deploy, administer, and maintain Azure/AWS/GCP solutions (Compute, Storage, Network, Security, Governance).
Automate tasks with custom scripts (PowerShell, CLI, Python).
Use Billing and Cost Management tools to analyze spending and usage trends.
Identify underutilized resources and advise on right-sizing for cost efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on projects.
Manage monitoring and alerting to detect issues in the platform.
Resolve incidents and outages with coordinated workarounds.
Create and maintain documentation and runbooks.
