Job summary

Liebherr International in Madrid is seeking a Core Platforms Engineering Team Lead (m/f/d) to manage the SAP S/4HANA and Azure-based environments, ensuring stability, security, and scalable governance across the enterprise landscape.

You will lead a cross-functional team of platform experts and architects, driving change and release management, testing readiness, and access controls, while collaborating with Delivery, Development and Integration teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in SAP and enterprise platform environments.
• Proven leadership of platform, infrastructure or technical operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA landscapes and architecture.
• Experience with Azure and enterprise applications like Dynamics 365.
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Liebherr’s core platforms including SAP S/4HANA and Azure environments.
• Define platform standards, governance, and best practices aligned with global architecture.
• Lead platform specialists and technical architects across SAP, Azure, testing, release management, and authorization domains.
• Oversee change and release management, testing readiness, and access controls.
• Collaborate with Development & Integration teams, Solution Architects, and program leadership.
• Manage external partners and monitor platform performance and risks.
• Support transformation programs (S/4HANA, Dynamics 365) with a stable platform foundation.
• Travel up to 30% to Liebherr sites worldwide.
