Job summary

Liebherr seeks an experienced SAP Sales & Service Team Manager to lead SAP SD and Service delivery from our Madrid IT Shared Service Centre. The role requires a hybrid work model with at least 40% on-site in Madrid and travel up to 30% for project activities.

You will build and guide a global SAP functional team, ensure fit-to-template execution, and drive end-to-end delivery from implementation to application management across SAP S/4HANA, SD, and Service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of SAP Sales & Service consulting, implementation, or AMS experience.
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations in international environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD and Service processes, including order-to-cash and billing.
• Demonstrated leadership of SAP functional teams and people management.
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Sales & Service delivery and application management across SD and Service processes.
• Build and develop a high-performing SAP functional consultants team with strong delivery quality.
• Oversee fit-to-template activities, configuration, and implementation within global standards.
• Ensure SIT, UAT, and defect resolution maintain end-to-end process integrity.
• Manage cutover, go-live, and Hypercare with structured knowledge transfer.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 functional support and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, BPOs, and AMS to ensure integrated solutions.
• Monitor performance, service levels, risks, and dependencies; drive corrective actions.
• Advance documentation and knowledge management using Jira, Confluence, and SAP Cloud ALM.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Sales & Service Team Manager (m/f/d) to lead our SAP Sales and Service capabilities across implementation and operations, based in our IT Shared Service Centre in Madrid.

In this role, you will lead the teams responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Service solutions . You will ensure successful delivery across global S/4HANA rollout waves while establishing sustainable application support and maintenance capabilities as our transformation progresses.

You will be responsible for building and developing a team of SAP functional consultants, overseeing solution delivery from fit-to-template through go-live, and ensuring effective Level 2 and Level 3 support following implementation. Working closely with Solution Architects, Business Process Owners, other SAP teams, and Application Management Services, you will drive solution quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement.

The working location for this position will be in Madrid city, where we operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site on a weekly basis.

• Lead SAP Sales & Service delivery and application management across Sales & Distribution (SD) and Service processes, ensuring alignment with Liebherr's global S/4HANA template.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of SAP functional consultants, ensuring effective resource allocation, delivery quality, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
• Oversee fit-to-template activities, solution configuration, and implementation, ensuring business requirements are addressed within global template standards.
• Ensure quality across system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution, maintaining end-to-end process integrity.
• Oversee cutover, go-live, and Hypercare activities, ensuring operational readiness, structured knowledge transfer, and successful transition into application support.
• Ensure effectiveLevel 2 and Level 3 functional application support, coordinating incident resolution, problem management, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Process Owners, other SAP functional teams, and Application Management Services to ensure integrated solutions and reliable operations, particularly acrossSAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Field Service.
• Monitor team performance, delivery commitments, service levels, risks, and dependencies, proactively addressing issues and driving corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP Sales & Service solutions, delivery and support processes, ensuring effective documentation and knowledge management using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP Sales & Service consulting, implementation, or application management, preferably within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations and supporting business-critical SAP applications in international environments.
• Strong functional understanding of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Service processes , including order-to-cash, sales order management, pricing, billing, service orders, and integration with Finance, Logistics, and Field Service Management.
• Proven experience leading and developing SAP functional teams, including people management, resource planning, performance management, and coaching.
• Experience across the SAP application lifecycle, including fit-to-template, configuration, testing, go-live, Hypercare, and transition to operations.
• Experience with SAP Application Management Services (AMS) , including Level 2/Level 3 support, incident and problem management, and service improvement.
• Ability to balance business requirements, global template standards, solution quality, and long-term application maintainability.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, IT, and external service providers.
• Structured, proactive, and results-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and experience in international environments.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.
