Frontiers is seeking a Copyediting Specialist to join our open-access journal publishing team in Madrid. You will copyedit STM/HSS articles for clarity, accuracy, and structure, ensuring professional academic tone while preserving author voice.

The role requires an eye for detail, strong English skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating with the Production team and IT on platform issues.

Formación

• At least 3 years of experience copyediting STM/HSS academic journals.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with a sharp editorial eye.
• Highly focused and detail-oriented, with an instinct for consistency and precision.

Responsabilidades

• Copyedit STM/HSS journal articles for clarity, accuracy and structure.
• Ensure professional academic tone while preserving author voice.
• Check text for readability and adherence to style guide.
• Perform quality control for articles copyedited by external suppliers.
• Liaise with copyediting team to resolve issues and support production.
