MDPI Spain seeks an Editorial Trainee based in Barcelona to learn editorial workflows under senior editors and transition into an Assistant Editor role. You will gain experience handling manuscripts, coordinating reviews, and communicating with authors and reviewers within an international open access publisher.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and proficiency in English and Spanish, with the opportunity to attend scientific conferences and advance in a global publishing career.

Formación

• Master's or PhD in Life sciences or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English and Spanish skills in written and spoken language.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with scholarly publishing is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Support editorial workflow from submission to publication under supervision.
• Coordinate review processes and editorial decisions with Managing Editors.
• Communicate effectively with authors, reviewers, and journal staff.
