Frontiers is seeking a dynamic Publishing Development professional in Madrid to grow open-access journals through strategic outreach and collaboration with researchers. You will manage a growing sales pipeline, engage editors, and leverage AI tools to drive outreach and publication opportunities while representing Frontiers at events.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, a fast-paced environment, and a passion for advancing open science to a global audience.

Formación

• You bring solid experience in sales, outreach, or business development with a proven track record of hitting targets.
• You enjoy fast-paced environments, handle multiple projects with ease, and know how to prioritize your day.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for opportunities and taking the initiative to make things happen.
• You communicate effectively in English with global researchers and international teams.
• Familiarity with academic publishing or the research community is a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Reach out directly to researchers and editors to spark new collaborations and recruit into the Editorial Board.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact through to publication.
• Leverage AI tools daily to research prospects, personalize outreach, and manage your pipeline.
• Cultivate long-term professional relationships with editors and authors.
• Represent journals at conferences, webinars, and online events to increase market footprint.
