Burgess Recruitment is seeking a Lead Deckhand for a 50m+ private motor yacht, based in Palma and operating in the Mediterranean. Immediate start date is preferred with DOE compensation.

Requirements include STCW, ENG1, Powerboat Level 2, with Yachtmaster being preferred. Fluent English and Schengen/work rights in Europe are essential.

Formación

• STCW certification is required.
• ENG1 medical certificate required.
• Powerboat Level 2 certificate required.
• Yachtmaster is preferred but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead deck operations on a 50m+ private motor yacht.
• Mooring, guest transfer, and tender driving tasks.
• Perform washdowns, teak care, stainless steel polishing and deck maintenance.
• Support Mediterranean operations and team duties on board.

Qualifications

• STCW

• Yachtmaster (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience on 50m+ motor yachts
• Strong tender driving and guest transfer experience
• Jet tender experience is an advantage
• Confident with mooring, anchoring, washdowns, detailing, teak care, stainless steel polishing and general deck maintenance
• Fluent English
• Schengen visa or legal right to work in Europe preferred

Other

• Private motor yacht operating in the Mediterranean
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic essential
• Team player with a hands-on approach
• Immediate availability is highly desirable
