Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Furnishing Platform team in Spain. You will design, build, and operate backend services and data pipelines supporting consumer credit reporting, collaborating with product, compliance, servicing and credit teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, on-call rotation, and delivering robust systems. You will work in a remote-first environment with visa sponsorship available and base pay ranging €73,000–€109,000 per year plus benefits.

Formación

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Backend design, development and deployment with Python or Kotlin.
• Familiar with distributed systems; knowledge of AWS, MySQL and Spark.
• Write clean, well-tested, extensible code across components.
• Comfortable navigating large code bases and performing reviews.
• Proactive about growth and seeking feedback from team.

Responsabilidades

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to discuss constraints and trade-offs.
• Maintain and monitor team artifacts; support on-call duties and incident response.
• Participate in interview process and contribute to team growth.
