Intro is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help modernise a growing FinTech platform. This fully remote role is based in Spain and managed via an Employer of Record, granting ownership from design through delivery while emphasising code quality and reliability.

You will work on scalable services and APIs. You will predominantly code in Kotlin and Java on the JVM, collaborate with product peers in a small cross-functional team, and participate in architectural decisions.

Formación

• At least 5 years of commercial software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java on the JVM.
• Experience in financial services, ideally FinTech, lending, banking, or payments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable backend services across a modern FinTech platform.
• Develop new services primarily using Kotlin.
• Work in a cloud-based environment and build reliable, maintainable systems.
