Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks a Data Architect to own the architectural design of its cyber data platform and data pipelines. You will shape evolution, ensure security and regulatory alignment, and collaborate with security, platform and data owners across locations.

You will drive best practices, assess AI/ML capabilities, and manage the migration from Azure Synapse to Databricks, balancing performance and cost as use cases grow.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience designing cloud data platforms and data pipelines in analytics environments.
• Strong data modelling skills with governance, lineage and quality focus.
• Experience working with security or enterprise architects and agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Define the target architecture for the cyber data platform and standard patterns for ingestion, transformation, modelling and serving of data.
• Produce reference designs for data engineers and review designs for consistency and quality.
• Assess new platform features for analytics, including AI/ML, and maintain a technology roadmap while keeping costs in check.
