Job summary

SGS is seeking a Data Architect to lead end-to-end data architectures across the organization, designing scalable cloud-based solutions and governance models.

You will work with Azure, Snowflake, DBT, Power BI, and collaborate with global stakeholders to drive adoption of modern data platforms while delivering hands-on solutions.

This role sits in the Global Data Team in Madrid with travel if needed and offers a supportive, multinational environment and opportunities for continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in Azure-based cloud/hybrid data & ML solutions.
• Experience delivering solution and reference architectures.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement data architecture, governance, standards and best practices.
• Assess and estimate data solutions for business needs.
• Lead solution design in data projects as Data Architect.
• Contribute hands-on when required.
• Ensure alignment with global architecture frameworks across teams.
• Act as main point of contact for cloud partners and internal stakeholders.
• Develop PoCs to validate emerging technologies.
• Stay current with data trends and continuous learning.
