Allianz Technology is seeking a senior Data & Analytics Platform engineer in Spain to design, implement, and operate central platforms that enable data and analytics at scale. You will work hands-on with Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric to deliver governed, scalable platform services for Allianz OEs.

You will build data integration pipelines, enforce security controls, and collaborate with security, risk, compliance, and architecture teams to accelerate platform adoption across

Formación

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years building data & analytics platforms in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalogue, workflows
• Practical experience with Azure data services (Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric)
• Strong Python and SQL; production-grade code
• Experience with CI/CD, source control, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep)
• Knowledge of platform security, governance, access controls, data lineage
• Familiarity with end-to-end Data Product Management and data lifecycle management
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsabilidades

• Consult with operating entities on deploying core platform components across Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Fabric
• Build data integration pipelines connecting source systems to central platforms using batch and streaming patterns
• Configure platform capabilities with high availability, access controls, and observability
• Extend platform into AI/GenAI scenarios, including Azure AI Foundry for governed model use cases
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into reusable platform solutions
• Implement governance, security, and data control layers for financial services requirements
• Develop CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines for fast, secure deployments
• Work with security, risk, compliance, architecture and governance teams to enable platform adoption
• Deliver reusable components, reference architectures and best practices for platform rollout
• Coach engineers and drive continuous improvement in tooling and standards
