The Social Hub in Barcelona is seeking a Commis to support mise-en-place, prep, and plating under the guidance of senior chefs in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen.

Ideal for culinary school grads or entry-level pros ready to dive in, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn kitchen routines, and contribute to guest experiences while enjoying a team-focused culture and opportunities for growth across Europe.

Formación

• Some professional kitchen experience or recent culinary school graduate.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen tools, cooking techniques, and hygiene practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with food preparation, mise-en-place, and kitchen setup across sections.
• Follow recipes and directions closely, delivering dishes with accuracy and consistency.
• Support plating during service, keeping things fast, clean, and delicious.
• Work closely with senior chefs and kitchen porters to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Help with cleaning routines and follow hygiene standards to the letter.
• Store and label ingredients properly while helping to manage food stock and rotation.
• Maintain a tidy station and pitch in wherever needed.
• Uphold all health and safety practices.
