The Ritz-Carlton Barcelona is seeking a non-management Cook to prepare ingredients, portion, wash produce, and cook following recipes and quality standards. You will operate kitchen equipment, monitor food quality, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work full-time in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment on site in Barcelona.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
