The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Madrid is seeking a Project Assistant (Integration) to support migrants in reception facilities by providing clear, culturally appropriate information and guidance on access to available services.

You will map local health, social and educational services, promote beneficiary participation, collect feedback, and coordinate with case management, protection and health teams to ensure coordinated support in line with humanitarian principles.

Formación

• Secondary school qualification is required.
• A degree in social sciences, humanities, or a relevant field is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clear, timely, and culturally appropriate information to migrants in reception facilities.
• Inform migrants about facility rules, available services, rights and duties.
• Identify and map local services (health, social, educational) to facilitate access.
• Promote active participation and develop community engagement mechanisms.
• Register, follow up, and address beneficiary feedback, complaints, and suggestions.
• Organize activities to enhance resilience, autonomy and psychosocial well-being.
• Promote social cohesion, mutual respect, and cultural diversity.
• Coordinate with case management, protection, health, and other teams to identify needs.
• Identify and contribute to prevention, mediation, and resolution of tensions or conflicts.
• Report trends and dynamics to improve services; ensure compliance with humanitarian principles, protection standards, PSEA, and data protection.
