Job summary

Brainlab is seeking an Application Consultant in Image Guided Surgery to support our Spain Sales Team. The role is a home office position preferably based in Madrid or Malaga, with extensive travel to customer sites and events.

You will educate clinicians, install systems, perform updates, and promote Brainlab products while collaborating with a dynamic international team. Fluency in English and Spanish, a biomedical engineering background, and a willingness to travel are required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking for a highly motivated Application Consultant in the field of Image Guided Surgery and surgical disciplines to support the Sales Team in Spain. The position will be reporting directly to the Sales Director. It will be a home office position located preferably in Madrid or Malaga.

Your main duties will be:

• Educate, train, provide on-site guidance and assistance to physicians and hospital personnel
• Perform new system installations
• Effective communication with customers to understand problems and adequate troubleshooting of issues
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills: task prioritization, effective time management
• Initiate upgrade projects with existing Brainlab installations
• Sell service contracts to existing Brainlab customers
• Monitors and promotes customer usage of products
• Conduct software updates
• Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote products and services

• Preferably you have completed a studies in the field of Biomedical Engineering, have a technical degree or equivalent
• Self-planning, organization and implementation of all service activities
• Ability to work well in a team environment and individually
• Good sense of humor
• Willing to travel extensively
• Speak fluently English and Spanish
• Necessary to possess a valid driving license
