UST España & Latam busca Analista Desarrollador Java con experiencia en Spring Boot para construir microservicios backend en un entorno financiero. Se valorará experiencia en IAGenerativa y prácticas modernas de desarrollo como CI/CD.

La posición es 100% remoto dentro de España, con posibilidad de crecimiento, formación continua y apoyo a certificaciones. Se busca proactividad y capacidad de trabajo en equipo para entregar soluciones seguras y escalables.

Formación

• 3+ años de experiencia en desarrollo backend con Java.
• 3+ años con Spring Boot.
• 4+ años usando Git en equipos.
• Experiencia con Kafka/IBM MQ y bases de datos relacionales.
• Conocimientos de REST APIs y microservicios.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mantener microservicios Java/Spring Boot.
• Diseñar APIs REST y servicios backend.
• Integrar soluciones con brokers de mensajes (Kafka/IBM MQ).
• Optimizar consultas y acceso a bases de datos relacionales.
• Contribuir CI/CD, deployments y soporte de producción.

What we look for?

We are looking for a Developer Analyst with solid experience in Java and Spring Boot microservices development, capable of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions within a financial services environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with messaging platforms, relational databases, REST APIs, and modern software development practices, including CI/CD and version control using Git.

We also seek professionals interested in Generative AI technologies, including AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, and the integration of LLM-based solutions to improve productivity and automate processes. Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, effective communication, and teamwork are essential.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java / Spring Boot microservices.
• Design and implement REST APIs and backend services.
• Build and support financial messaging transformation and processing solutions.
• Integrate applications with messaging brokers such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar technologies.
• Design, optimize, and maintain queries and data access layers for relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, and production support.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, ensuring service stability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews, promote development best practices, and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to the adoption and implementation of Generative AI capabilities, AI-powered development assistants, and process automation initiatives.
• Support the integration of AI/LLM-based solutions and help evaluate the quality and effectiveness of AI-generated outputs.

What do we expect from you?

Mandatory requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• 3+ years of experience working with Spring Boot.
• 4+ years of experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, including:
• AI-powered development assistants.
• Prompt engineering fundamentals.
• Understanding and evaluation of Large Language Model (LLM) outputs.
• Advanced English level (C1 or higher).
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, proactivity, and quality-oriented mindset.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking, payments, or financial services.
• Knowledge of financial messaging standards such as ISO 20022 and SWIFT.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions such as Amazon S3.
• Experience with distributed caching technologies such as Redis.

Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM solutions via APIs such as:

• OpenAI
• Azure OpenAI
• Gemini
• Claude
• Similar platforms

Knowledge of advanced AI concepts:

• Advanced Prompt Engineering
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI Agents
• AI-driven workflow automation

Work mode: remote within Spain
