UST España & Latam is seeking a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst with strong IT project experience, ideally in banking or financial services. You will bridge business needs and engineering teams, translating requirements into functional/technical specifications while applying Generative AI to enhance software delivery quality and speed.

• Collaborate with development teams on backend solutions based on Java and Spring Boot technologies.
• Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support testing, validation, UAT, and acceptance activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure solutions meet functional, quality, security, scalability, and reliability expectations.
• Leverage Generative AI technologies to accelerate requirements analysis and technical documentation.
• Use AI-powered tools and prompt engineering techniques to support solution design, testing, and process optimization.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and solution quality through AI adoption.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in IT projects.
• Previous experience in banking, financial services, or financial systems environments.
• Strong background in business requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI technologies and their application across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience using AI-powered development assistants, Prompt Engineering, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience working alongside software development teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of backend ecosystems based on Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AI-powered tools such as: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Devin, Similar AI-assisted development platforms
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in financial messaging platforms or Corporate & Investment Banking projects.
