UST España & Latam busca un Backend Developer con Java para un proyecto global de wealth management. Ubicación Madrid, formato híbrido (3 días en oficina, 2 desde casa). Colaborarás con equipos IT y negocio para entregar soluciones de alto impacto en un entorno internacional.

Se valorará experiencia en REST, Oracle, Kafka y MQ, y capacidad para definir pruebas y garantizar la calidad sin un equipo QA dedicado. Ofrecemos formación, beneficios flexibles y plan de desarrollo profesional.

Formación

• Conocimientos sólidos en la pila Java y ciclo de vida de desarrollo de software.
• Experiencia en servicios RESTful con Eclipse IDE para desarrollo y depuración.
• Experiencia con Oracle Database y desarrollo SQL.
• Se valora Kafka y exposición a IBM MQ / RabbitMQ u otros.
• Fuerte comprensión de patrones de comunicación asíncrona y arquitecturas distribuidas.

Responsabilidades

• Trabajar con el cliente IT y las partes interesadas del negocio para entregar programas de alto impacto.
• Desarrollar backend Java en un entorno híbrido en Madrid.
• Asegurar la calidad, estabilidad y validación de las propias aplicaciones antes de su lanzamiento (sin QA dedicado).

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Backend Developer

to contribute in a project with one of our global customers in wealth management. We are building a very strong team comprised of high caliber professionals that will work closely with the client's IT and Business stakeholders to deliver impactful programs. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects with talented colleagues in an international environment while developing your domain knowledge working for a top company. Work model is hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH), feel free to apply if you are also open for relocation! Note: We will provide training on the Actico Platform.

What do we expect from you?

• Strong knowledge of the Java technology stack, software engineering best practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of RESTful web service with Eclipse IDE for development, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
• Experience with Oracle Database and SQL development.
• Experience with Kafka is preferred, while exposure to platforms such as IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ), RabbitMQ, or similar alternatives will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns, message-driven architectures, and distributed system in designing, creating, and executing: Functional testing Integration testing Acceptance testing Mock-up testing.
• Ability to independently define test scenarios, create test data, build mock environments, and thoroughly test their own developments.
• As there will initially be no dedicated QA team, developers will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and validation of their own applications before release.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dynamic Application Framework (DAF).
• Experience in Business Rule Management, including: Modelling Management Implementation Certifications or training in Visual Rules or Actico Rules.
• Experience with Actico Platform integration, particularly in Workplace-focused environments.
