UST España & Latam is seeking an AI-assisted Code Analyst with strong Java, Spring Boot, and microservices experience. You will analyze and improve code quality, leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Devin, and collaborate across teams to optimize performance in a fully remote role based in Spain.

Responsibilities include reviewing Java applications, documenting solutions, and contributing to CI/CD and DevOps practices while maintaining security and quality standards.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years in a developer role with Java stack.
• Experience with AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin).
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, APIs and Microservices experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle DB and JDBC.
• Knowledge of J2EE, HTML and JavaScript.

We are looking for an AI-Assisted Code Analyst with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, Oracle, APIs, and Microservices, as well as hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Devin. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving code quality, reducing technical debt, and optimizing application performance in a collaborative environment. This is a 100% remote position based in Spain.

Main Tasks and Accountabilities

• Develop the required specifications, through the delivery of services and technical components required for its operation with a view of your own development and its integration with other teams and systems.
• Document the solutions in JIRA, Confluence, ALM.
• Analyze and review Java and Spring Boot-based applications to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability, and reduce technical debt.
• Leverage AI-powered tools (e.G., GitHub Copilot, Devin) to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, and with engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Support the implementation of best practices in backend and frontend development.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Manage requests to other production support teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a developer in the required areas is required.
• Knowledge and experience in AI-powered tools (e.G., GitHub Copilot, Devin).
• Java, Springboot, APIs, Microservices.
• Java Database Connectivity (JDBC).
• J2EE.
• Javascript.
• Maven.
• JADE (nodejs).
• HTML.
• BBDD Oracle.
• CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
• High experience in cybersecurity & Quality (Fortify, SonarQube...) to resolve and reduce technical debt.
• English (MINIMUN LEVEL B1, ideally B2).
