Job summary

Santander is seeking an AI Transformation Lead in Spain to drive enterprise AI initiatives end-to-end, from strategy through deployment and scaling. You will blend AI product leadership with hands-on development in a regulated banking environment.

Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, prototyping with Python, and leading cross-functional squads to deliver measurable business value. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years in AI/ML, AI product, or AI transformation roles.
• Proven experience deploying AI systems into production.
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably banking/financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage AI initiatives from concept through production and adoption.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across AI, Data, Engineering, Product, and Business.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities and translate challenges into scalable roadmaps.
• Develop AI prototypes and production components using Python.
• Define scalable AI architectures and oversee model lifecycle & monitoring.
• Track KPIs and ensure measurable business impact; drive cross-functional execution.
