Santander seeks a Senior AI Scientist in Advanced Analytics to advance AI science for scalable financial systems. You will design experiments, lead model development, and collaborate with engineering, product, and business to deploy production-ready solutions.

Ideal candidates have 7–12 years in data science or AI, strong statistics, and experience with graph-based methods, RL, and synthetic data. English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus. Hybrid work with on-site and remote days in Spain.

Formación

• 7–12 years of experience in data science, ML or applied AI.
• Strong foundation in statistics and experimental design.
• Experience with graph-based models, RL, synthetic data, retrieval systems.
• Ability to translate business questions into testable hypotheses.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the evolution of data science into AI Science for scalable systems.
• Hands-on contributor with mentoring and project guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business to deploy models.
• Frame business problems and design experimental strategies.
• Apply modern AI techniques when appropriate to problems.
