Lynx is seeking an Accounting & Finance Analyst in Madrid to join their Finance team. This role involves accounting, financial operations, and data analysis responsibilities for both the parent company and its international subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a degree in finance-related fields, and strong Excel skills. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess professional proficiency in English to thrive in a dynamic environment.

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or financial operations roles.
• Candidates with other academic degrees will also be considered.

• Support and execute accounting and financial processes for parent company and subsidiaries.
• Control and follow-up of customer and supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As part of the Finance team, the role combines accounting, financial operations, and data analysis responsibilities, supporting both the parent company and international subsidiaries in day-to-day financial activities and reporting processes.

Main responsibilities include:

• Support and execution of accounting and financial processes for the parent company and international subsidiaries, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, fixed assets, CAPEX, reconciliations, and cash position monitoring.
• Control and follow-up of customer and supplier contracts, maintaining updated documentation and centralized contract database in coordination with Sales and other internal teams.
• Preparation and maintenance of financial and operational charts and reports using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI, supporting budgeting, reporting, and financial monitoring activities.
• Support in vendor onboarding processes, supplier documentation management, contract renewals, and third-party compliance reviews.
• Participation in month-end closing activities, reconciliations, audit support, and other day-to-day Finance tasks.
• As part of a small and collaborative Finance team, the role involves providing cross-functional support across reporting, treasury and FX cash monitoring, budgeting, pricing and profitability control, presentations, and ad hoc financial tasks, while also acting as back-up support across different Finance functions when needed.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or financial operations roles.

EDUCATION

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar disciplines preferred; candidates with other academic degrees will also be considered.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Good understanding of accounting, invoicing, and financial processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and interest in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI or Power Query.
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken). Portuguese language skills will be positively valued.
• Organized and detail-oriented profile with a strong focus on accuracy and control.
• Proactive and flexible mindset, with willingness to learn and support different areas within the Finance function.
• Commitment spirit and team player with the ability to work in a dynamic and international environment.
