IRB Barcelona is seeking an Academic Officer to join our People and Academic Affairs Department in Barcelona. The role reports to the Academic Coordinator and focuses on ensuring smooth operation of our academic programmes and enhancing the student experience.

You will support Undergraduate, Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowship Programmes, including call announcements, eligibility review, interview logistics, and onboarding, as well as managing the Complementary Training Programme and career

Formación

• Proven experience in career advising, academic programmes, or similar roles in a research or academic setting.
• Degree in a life sciences-related field or Humanities (such as Psychology).
• Good command (spoken and written) of Catalan, Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and execute the organization of the Undergraduate Programme.
• Support Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowship Programmes: announcements, eligibility, interviews, onboarding.
• Implement the Complementary Training Programme effectively.
• Provide career development advising for predoctoral researchers.
• Offer personalized academic support to students, committees and scientists.
